Bible for the Nations e.V.
The work of Bible for the Nations began in 1994 through contact with the Swedish Bible society BTA (Bible to All), which had set itself the goal of making the New Testament available to everyone.
The idea of publishing target group-oriented New Testaments came up quite quickly. The trigger was a trucker festival, where there was a church service for truckers on Sunday morning. The tent was full of truck drivers and their wives, who had come early especially to hear the gospel. The following year, the trucker festival featured a target group-oriented New Testament, the Trucker Bible, along with a CD of gospel, blues, and country music and readings from the Bible.
The truck drivers lined up to show their driver's licenses so they could receive this trucker's bible and the CD.
The next project followed quickly: the Biker Bible. The first edition of the Biker Bible was published at the same time in German and Swedish. Today, the Biker Bible is our most widely distributed New Testament edition in Europe. Christian biker clubs throughout Europe are busy passing it on. The Biker Bible is currently available in 23 languages and has been printed in a run of 1,000,000 copies.
Bibel Mission e.V.
For over 40 years, God has been using the Bible Mission to win people for Christ. Through His work, countless people have been able to receive and accept the saving message of the Gospel.
God blesses us with a well-established international team, as well as a large number of volunteers and helpers who participate in the ministry on a voluntary basis. God is expanding our mission field to include countries such as Israel and Mongolia.
He also leads us to 25 largely unreached nations and ethnic groups. God strategically directs our ministry to bring His Word to families, because change in society begins in its smallest unit, the family.
We serve with, for, and through churches. It is important to us that our partner churches are evangelistically oriented, teach biblical doctrine, and are peacemakers in their communities and beyond.
We see our task as training believers in local churches and equipping them for their ministry so that they can reach the people in their communities with the message of Jesus Christ and establish new churches.
Partnership
The partnership between “Bibel-Mission” and “Bible for the Nations” began in 2019. Right after our first meeting, we realized that we share the same DNA. We are united by our belief in the living Word of God. We believe that the Word of God changes people's lives. Whenever people come into contact with the Bible, change happens. How this change looks is up to each individual to decide for themselves
In this faith, we want to bring our strengths together in synergy and support each other in bringing the Word of God into people's homes. Together, in a united way, we want to fulfill the Great Commission.
